Manufacturing at NABA
The NABA industrial manufacturing center has been in operation for over 80 years.
The Center has created and maintains competitive paying jobs for people who are blind or visually impaired. It is a fully integrated environment where blind and sighted individuals work side by side.
Private businesses and government agencies contract with NABA to achieve the highest standards of product quality and manufacturing safety. The largest government contracts include textiles for the armed services, and safety vests for the New York City Transit Authority. Our annual contract with the NYC Transit Authority produces over 50,000 safety vests.
Jobs in the manufacturing department include industrial sewing, assembly, packing, folding, bagging, and labeling using programmable and adaptive equipment. To inquire how NABA is the best choice for meeting your business’s manufacturing needs, please contact Harry Weatherwax, Director of Manufacturing at (518) 463-1211, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.
